BJP Attacks UP Government For Power Crisis

UP Bhartiya Janta Party on Monday launched a scathing attack on Samaj Wadi party for acute power crisis in the state.Light to moderate rainfall lashed parts of Uttar Pradesh on Monday even as there was not much change in the temperature. The areas that received rainfall included Robertganj and Churk in Sonbhadra district, Handia in Allahabad district, Baheri in Bareilly district and Phoolpur in Azamgarh district. The power scenario in Uttar Pradesh continues to be grim as the residents of capital city protested the erratic power supply and took to the streets to vent their anger.

Uttar Pradesh, which is facing power shortages, is looking to purchase 500 MW electricity on short term basis in order to address the problem.The Centre has come down heavily on Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh over the issue of power crisis in the state and asked the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister to stop coming up with excuses and rise above petty politics.
Keeping up its offensive over long power outages and water crisis in the national capital, Congress on Sunday held a protest in Karol Bagh area of central Delhi and demanded immediate intervention of the Centre to address the problems.

UP government asks district, police officers to be more responsive

"As per the Chief Minister’s directions, all district level officers will change the work culture and will be accountable for negligence in slackness in public grievance redressal. Strict action will be taken against the officers not resolving public problems on priority," said Uttar Pradesh Principal Secretary (Home) Deepak Singhal on Friday.

Earlier on Wednesday night, Singhal held a meeting with the district and police officials at Noida authority auditorium and issued directions. He said the smallest of incident in the district should be taken seriously and officers will visit the site and resolve the issue to the satisfaction of complainant before it flares up in major clash.
  
Singhal also informed that as per the Chief Minister's direction Noida authority will spend Rs 100 crore for upgradation of police network system in the city.

"The funds would be spent on setting of new police stations, cyber control room, CCTV camera network, PCR vans," he added.
  
Singhal directed the officers to check illegal mining by conducting joint raids and keeping surveillance. He told the officials to clamp ‘Goonda Act’, Gangster Act, NSA on mining mafias.

Singhal further directed officers to be sensitive towards crime against women and take it on priority and take measures for prevention.

"In case of complaint immediate action should be taken and accused sent to jail," he told the officials.

When will finish Electricity problem in OUR UP ?

Electricity problem is a one of the biggest problem in U.P. The government is change but situation is same. The peoples do something for this. After having PM Modi Sir will surely find out several strong ways to accommodate electricity time to time for students and other necessarily as our requirement.  In this era of high tech living we are facing a daily power cut of around 8 - 15 hours in cities like Faizabad, Sultanpur, Basti, Lucknow, Ayodhya etc. In Faizabad alone a daily power cut of 7 - 11 AM and then 1 - 5 PM is noticed.

Family, business and offices are facing heavy work loss due to that because they have to be dependent on generators which consume either Diesel or Kerosene which is not only become costly but also create lot of air and noise polution.

Situation will become more worst in coming summers. Let's come to gather and do something for this.

युनाइटेड नैशंस चिल्ड्रंस फंड (यूनिसेफ) ने यूपी में बलात्कार और हत्या की शिकार लड़कियों के परिजन के लिए इंसाफ की मांग करते हुए कहा है कि लड़कियों और महिलाओं के खिलाफ इस तरह के 'घृणित अपराधों' को किसी भी तरह से जायज नहीं ठहराया जा सकता। साथ ही ऐसे करने वाले निश्चित रूप से किसी ढिलाई के हकदार नहीं हैं। यूपी के बिजनौर जिले में 14 साल एक और लड़की से बलात्कार और हत्या की रिपोर्ट के बीच यूएन की संस्था ने कहा कि यूनिसेफ इन नृशंस अपराधों की पीड़िताओं और उनके परिवारों के इंसाफ के लिए फिर से आह्वान करता है। संस्था का यह भी कहना था कि ऐसी घटनाओं से लड़कियों और महिलाओं को ही कष्ट नहीं पहुंचता है, बल्कि समाज का ताना-बाना भी बिगड़ता है। इसके लिए कोई तर्क नहीं, कोई बहाना नहीं और कोई माफी नहीं होनी चाहिए। 

The Tragic Accident - A mistake

Bangalore, June 10: Twenty five engineering students including six girls have been washed away as water from Larji dam was released suddenly to Beas river in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday, June 8. Hours after the tragic accident, blame game has begun and it also has been suspected that the young students might have become victims of a conspiracy. According to media reports, local people suspected that sand mafia and their alleged connection with officials might have created such situation in which the innocent students died. Localites raised question about the timing of water release.They claimed that water could have been released at night as days are longer in summers and people indulge in many activities on the riverbank. One of the villagers was quoted as saying, "The authorities often release the water in the evening to flush out the silt deposited in the reservoir. The project authorities release the water at the time convenient for the sand mafia to extract sand illegally." Media reports also quoted villagers as saying, "The local administration also doesn't act against the illegal mining. Even the railing on the roadside have been stolen or damaged by sand mafia who has laid small roads to the riverbank from national highway." Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh High Court asked the state government to submit its report within seven days. Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan said, "Going by contents of news items, it is a sad tale that sheer fun of young students turned fatal as a consequence of utter and callous negligence of power project authorities." A group of nearly 50 students from Andhra Pradesh were travelling on buses to the tourist hill station of Manali when they stopped in the Kullu Valley, some 200 kilometres (130 miles) from state capital Shimla. Water from the dam was released suddenly when the students were taking pictures on the riverbank. While some claimed that siren was not heard before water was released,GP Sanjay Kumar asserted, "The sudents must not have heard it because of the noise from the river." 

Gopinath Munde Died OF Multiple Internal Injuries

Union Rural Development Minister Gopinath Munde died of "multiple internal injuries" leading to cardiac arrest following a car accident here early Tuesday morning, said the preliminary postmortem report prepared by a panel of doctors at the AIIMS here.

"His liver was ruptured, which caused internal bleeding. Due to the sudden shock and impact, he then suffered cardiac arrest. None of the external wounds were fatal enough to cause death," AIIMS sources said.

Munde's post-mortem was conducted by a medical board at AIIMS after which his body was taken to BJP headquarters at 11 Ashoka Road.

"The three-member panel of doctors constituted to conduct the post-mortem of Gopinath Munde concluded the union minister suffered multiple internal injuries that caused cardiac arrest, leading to his death," Amit Gupta, Public Relations Officer of AIIMS, told media persons.

Munde, 64, an important figure in Maharashtra politics, was going to the airport here when his Maruti Suzuki SX4 car was hit by a Tata Indica at Aurobindo Chowk around 6.20 am.

Gupta said Munde was brought to the Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre of AIIMS at 6:30 am.

"On his arrival at the Apex Trauma Centre, there was no spontaneous breathing, no blood pressure, no pulse. There was no cardiac activity. So, immediately cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was started and it continued for the next 50 minutes. However, he didn't respond to the treatment," he said.

He was declared dead at 7:20 am.

Gupta said, "The detailed report will come out in the evening, which will be directly handed over to the investigating officer of Delhi Police."

At around 12:40 pm, an open army truck which had Union ministers Nitin Gadkari and Harsh Vardha and Munde's family left the hospital followed by an ambulance carrying Munde's body.

Brother-in-law of late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, Munde is survived by his wife and three daughters, one of whom is an MLA from Parli in Maharashtra's Beed district.

We are felling very sorry that he had died, We lost a great minister. God give him peace and patient his family. 

How do we stop rapes ?

Rape is rooted in two reasons. It is primarily a foundational issue. It is the failure of social norms, from the family to educational institutes, to exercise control. Thus society has gone weaker and become loose. People then behave like loose canons. They may have gone to school, but that is not education, that is literacy. Today the boys only want Mazaak and Mazaa- and that obviously means disrespect for women.

The police is a step behind and not in step with society. It is not audited and is monopolistic in nature. If you don’t conduct social audits, you don’t receive any feedback from the community. How are you to strategies without any feedback from the ground? The system suffers from a statistical approach. So, while you may have failed professionally you are still successful statistically. Statistics hide information. Statistics state there is only a marginal increase in rape cases. But hardly anyone reports them.

These things perpetuate crime and embolden the criminal. In the good old days we used to do group patrolling. The community and the police used to work together. Now they have abandoned support schemes such as citizens volunteer schemes.

We used to maintain a rough register that contained names of ruffians. The officers used to visit their homes and check on them. We even kept an eye on school dropouts. Nobody was out of sight. We did that with minimum manpower and maximum community support.

Good policing means that the law is the same for everyone. We never spared any VIP. It was all about being accountable to the community. Today, the police is accountable only to the VIP.

We need to rise to the challenge and co-opt private security if there is a problem of manpower. I have trained thousands of boys and girls in civil defense. Where are they? Where are the citizen wardens?

There are four steps to what I call the Complete Criminal Justice System:

Every one think off giving punishment to the rape crime, not finding the solution to prevent it.I am not telling there should not be any punishment for the rape, there is, but not hanging or castration or imprisonment. These are wrong punishments. The right punishment is to tie the person naked to tree and throw stones, footwears for 3 to 5 minutes whether he dies or not till that time. That’s his luck. We cannot give punishment of death to someone without giving him the chance to survive. Humiliation is the perfect punishment for some rape criminal, not for the murderer.
